We (Kirstine, Mara, Michal, Ping, Sai and Eszter) were taking care of Cross Attic, an artistic venue 129 steps up in the sky in Prague 7 in its last chapter before it closed its doors in November 2024.

With Cross Attic gone (the place that was our core inspiration and subject) we are currently facing a million questions about the future of our little collective. For example: are we a collective? One thing that is clear to us is that we really want to be! The 6 of us connected over a mutual curiosity and care towards the Attic (and a shared history from our studies at DAMU in the MA DOT program) Our collaboration is rooted in a site-specific sensibility and interest in objects and their stories that we wish to further explore in the future.
our collective started in a dusty, dreamy, cozy attic in Prague 2024. Cross Attic had been our secret playground, an artistic nest 129 stairs above the ground for a year, until the space was closed, and our next nomadic chapter began..

In the attic Mara has the best sense of how things should be organised in the space. She is the inventor and master of the communication technique called "whispering" (inviting people to events by personal connections& conversations) but she is also great at responding to emails and beats all of us in chess.
